The Huron River Watershed Council (HRWC) conducted an extensive search for river mussels in the summer of 2024 in a section of the Huron River to prepare for removal of the Peninsular Park Dam. 7 Cylinders Studio captured some of their efforts in action to help educate the wider Ypsilanti community of this aspect of protecting and preserving an important species.
